Welcome New Resident!
The following is to help you make a smooth transition into the neighborhood. Please read this material and keep it handy for future reference.
The City of Pasadena Hills is a registered national and state historic district.Established in 1928, the small suburban community of Pasadena Hills in northern St. Louis County, Missouri represents an important transition in the residential development patterns in metropolitan St. Louis.
The layout of the community had been carefully designed by Roland H. Buchmueller, who identified himself as town planner and later as town planning engineer. His design took into consideration the natural ravines in the area, creating a series of parks and roadways that followed the natural contours and made the most of the vistas created when he placed house lots. His plans included the use of winding streets and sidewalks leading up to the homes in effort to emulate the countryside.
Pasadena Hills is a Fourth-Class City, having a Mayor-Alderperson form of government. The Board of Aldermen meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at Pasadena Hills City Hall. The City is divided into two (2) wards with two Alderpersons representing each ward. Board of Aldermen meeting agendas are posted on the bulletin board at city hall and emailed to residents who subscribe to our email list.
Pasadena Hills also has a Subdivision Trustee Board which enforces the Trustee Indentures, which is part of each deed to real property in the City. The Trustee Board also handles tree related matters and assessments. The Trustee Board meets the 2nd Monday of each month at the City Hall at 7:00p.m.
Quarterly newsletters are mailed to each household and contain a host of information to include changes within our city, upcoming events and reminders. Residents can also expect news and updates via email. We encourage you to get involved in your new community and enjoy events with your neighbors.
